Vaeloria: Echos of Deathknell
Vaeloria is an in-browser RPG built on the classic starter-zone MMO loop — quests, travel, encounters, loot, professions — but the world is rendered as an interface, not a walkable 3D map. There is no avatar to steer and no action combat layer. Routes, location sheets, encounter reads, ability priorities, combat logs, inventory, and quest journals are the play surface.
You wake into a haunted frontier as one of the surface-risen. Pick a class, accept your first quest, plan a route that does not kill you, and start trading what you can read in an encounter for what your character becomes after it.
This is an in-development build. The starter region is playable end to end, but balance, onboarding, and online polish are still moving. Mobile-friendly, fullscreen-friendly, free.
What you do
- Browser-native, no install: built for desktop, mobile touch, narrow windows, mouse, and trackpad.
- Four real classes: Warrior, Mage, Priest, Rogue. Real builds, not cosmetic flavor.
- Read combat before you commit: intent, ability priority, resources, logs, loot.
- A hand-built starter region: route planning, location sheets, and travel with consequences.
- Proper RPG depth: professions, gathering, vendors, bank, corpse loot, and long-term character progression.
- Lightweight online presence: local presence, chat, and parties through a live shard.
Vaeloria is in development. Balance, onboarding, server-authoritative systems, content depth, and visual polish are still moving, but the starter-region loop is playable now.
